URGENT: Gazprom net profits total $5.4 billion in 1H05

MOSCOW, November 25 (RIA Novosti) – Net profits of Russian energy giant Gazprom stood at $5.4 billion in the first half of 2005 against $3.2 billion in the first half of 2004, the company said in a consolidated transitional non-audited report Friday.
