Ukrainian president urges UN to deem Great Famine genocide

KIEV, November 26 (RIA Novosti) – Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko has urged foreign states and the UN to recognize the Great Famine (Holodomor) of 1932–33 as an act of genocide against the Ukrainian people.
