Russia by the Numbers: Central Bank reserves in perspective

MOSCOW, November 28 (RIA Novosti, Peter Lavelle) – The reserves held by the Central Bank of Russia reached a new historical high of $167.2 billion as of November 25. Given the pace of reserves accumulation, year-end reserves should reach the level of $175 billion and put gains for 2005 at around $50 billion
