Gazprom presents nationwide gas provision program

TYUMEN, December 16 (RIA Novosti) – A program developed by natural gas monopoly Gazprom for providing natural gas to Russia's regions is a major social project, a deputy prime minister said Friday. "The new program for regional gas provision, which has been drafted and initiated by Gazprom, should become another major social project directly linked to current national priorities," Dmitry Medvedev, who is also the chairman of the Gazprom board of directors, said opening a gas conference in the Siberian city of Novy Urengoy.
