Tap Water Still Seen As Threat in Russia's Far East
Residents in Russia's far-eastern city of Khabarovsk near the Chinese border say a toxic spill from China has turned their river into a time-bomb. The city is sitting on a powder keg that would explode in spring, once the ice melts, a regional official said.
