I too am shocked that Ballet dancers will have to serve in the military. Have the leaders of Russia lost their minds? Is it not enough that the fall of the Soviet Union has given the world Russia's most talented coaches in Figure skating and the other arts, circus, Moiseev dancers and folk dancers etc. etc.? Is it not enough that so many figure skating coaches have moved to the US and Canada where they are helping the world, leaving almost no coaches to coach the new generation of Russian skaters to the detriment of Russia?
