Alrosa diamond producer RAS net profit falls 20.4% in 9M06

MOSCOW, November 1 (RIA Novosti) – Alrosa, Russia's largest diamond producer, said Wednesday its net profit, calculated to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), fell 20.4%, year-on-year, in the first nine months of 2006, to 8.48 billion rubles (about $314 million).
