Swiss Court Bans Swiss Company Noga from Seizing Russian Property in Repayment of 1990s Debts

On Tuesday, Oct. 31, the federal court of Switzerland banned trading firm Noga from impounding Russian property to secure the repayment of debts, which Noga claims are still owed to it by the Russian government under barter oil deals that were struck in early 1990s.
