Vodafone Denies Times' Report of Talks for a $28Bln Tie-Up with Russia's Alfa Group

The Thursday, Nov. 2, edition of the British <i>Times</i> reported that Russian conglomerate Alfa Group has approached Vodafone Group about a possible $28.6 billion tie-up. Following the publication, Vodafone denied that any talks are taking place.
