Moldova calls for withdrawal of Russian peacekeepers

UNITED NATIONS, October 2 (RIA Novosti) – Moldovan Foreign Minister Andrei Stratan said Russian peacekeepers in the country's breakaway region of Transdnestr should be replaced with a "multinational civil mission with an international mandate."
