Not every American, in fact few, broadly support the missile plan. We feel it is antagonizing a friend and instead, we should invite Russia into NATO. There is no possibility of peace without Russia. The talent you bring to the table is 1st rate. Putin is seen by many here as a strong nationalist for Russia. I am an admirer.
