Police clashes with squatters in Buenos Aires
Clashes occurred in Buenos Aires on Wednesday as police tried to empty a building that had been illegally occupied. Violent clashes erupted between police and social leaders, local artists and even government workers who had taken over the building and established a cultural centre there. The clashes took place after the owner of the building called the police to have the place vacated. Three policemen and journalists covering the events were reported injured. After several clashes police were able to empty the building. Fourteen people were arrested, according to local media.

March of the Penguins
The San Francisco Zoo held its annual March of the Penguins on Wednesday and introduced a handful of young penguins to their larger family and a larger pool.Four adolescent penguins were paraded through the zoo grounds to their new home on Penguin Island amid a cheering crowd and some noisy fellow animals.For the first several months of their lives, the four Magellanic chicks attended fish school and were separated from the colony of 54 penguins that live on a man-made rock formation. The zoo says their Magellanic Penguins are the largest and most successful colony in captivity.
