U.S.-Russia Nuclear Arms Treaty Progress
A report issued by RIA Novosti, the Russian news agency, quoted Russian President Dmitry Medvedevâ™s statement at a March 1 joint news conference with French President Nicolas Sarkozy that Russia and the United States are close to completing negotiations on a new treaty that would cut stores of strategic arms. </p>
